Guest Director - Measure for Measure

Rosemary Dunsmore was chosen in 1990 for the MacLean's magazine Honour Poll as one of twelve Canadians who "make a difference". She is one of Canada's busiest actors, dividing her time between Toronto, Los Angeles and Vancouver. She began her career on stages across Canada, playing leads for two seasons at the Stratford Festival, and in Canadian premieres of shows like Sam Shepard's Buried Child, and Marsha Norman's Getting Out. Her most recent stage appearances were at the Canadian Stage Company in Fallen Angels and The Monument, at the Centaur Theatre in Montreal in Wit, and at the Manitoba Theatre Centre in The Beauty Queen of Leenane. She has also played many roles in the film and television world, including Blind Faith, the title role in Mom P.I., Anne of Green Gables - The Sequel, Total Recall, Liar Liar, and Boy Meets Girl.

Directing credits for the stage include: The Glace Bay Miner's Museum, Three Days of Rain and Two Rooms in Toronto, Misery and Skylight in Winnipeg, All's Well that Ends Well for the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Hedda Gabler at the Atlantic Theare Festival, and Dinner with Friends in Montreal. Guest Director - Love's Labour's Lost

A founding member of Toronto's Soulpepper Theatre Company, Joseph most recently directed The Winter's Tale and performed in Absolutely Chekhov with the Soulpepper Theatre this past summer. Other Soulpepper credits have included Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Amolphe in School for Wives; as director - Our Town and Present Laughter.

Directing credits include: How I Learned to Drive and Patience (CanStage), Three Tall Women, Homeward Bound, and If We Are Women (Grand Theatre), The Two Mrs. Carrolls and The Shop at Sly Corner (Shaw Festival), as well as Hamlet for the Stratford Festival. Acting credits include: Skylight (Tarragon), Hamlet (Citadel Theatre), Macbeth (Theatre For a New Audience, NYC), five seasons at Stratford, and four at Niagara-on-the-Lake. Film and television: Focus, The Mathew Shepard Story, Blue Murder, Due South, and regular appearances on Black Harbour and Side Effects. [Read more]
