Stop buying plastic bottled water. Keep asking for organic fair-trade coffee at your regular coffee shops. Use reusable gift bags instead of gift wrap and bows. Read labels - try to buy less made in china junk. Avoid logos at all times. When travelling, support locally owned businesses and services, rather than big box/big chain conglomerates. Familiarize yourself and your children to the term "sustainability" - make it your new mantra.
